Dear Innovative Law Library User:
This is the final mailing of the Innovative Law Users Group (ILUG) for 2001/2002. Our records indicate that you are the designated ILUG contact person for your library. This mailing includes information about the ILUG annual meeting in July, so please make additional copies of the meeting agenda and registration form and distribute them to other staff members at your library.
The following documents are enclosed in this mailing:
- Business agenda and Program list for the Orlando meeting
- Registration form for the annual meeting and optional lunch
- Biographical information and a statement from the candidates for Vice-Chair/Chair Elect
- Ballot - Each institution has one vote
- Membership Application (included as a convenience only for those institutions who have not yet paid for 2002)
The ILUG annual meeting will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2002, from 8:30-4:30 in the Orange County Convention Center. We have planned a full agenda, with programs presented by representatives from Innovative Interfaces as well as ILUG officers, and the ever popular discussion groups. Please feel free to attend as much of the program as you have time available. ILUG does not charge a registration fee for any portion of the annual meeting and program, but for planning purposes we do need you to complete the registration form and return it by June 20.
On the registration form, you will see listed an optional lunch at the Peabody Hotel, which does require registration and pre-payment. The lunch is meant to provide a convenient opportunity and place to discuss common concerns and issues with your colleagues. To encourage this exchange of ideas and make the high cost of a hotel meal more reasonable, ILUG does subsidize the price of the meal for members.
Our Vice-Chair, Mary Strouse has selected an excellent slate of candidates for Vice-Chair/Chair Elect for 2002/2003. We thank both Amy Moberly and Elizabeth Moore for agreeing to run for Vice-Chair.
Hope to see you all in Orlando in July.
Virginia Bryant, Chair 2001/2002
