Annual Meeting
July 16, 2005
San Antonio, TX
Dear Innovative Law Library User:
This is the second mailing for the 2004/2005 ILUG term. Enclosed, and on the website (except the ballot) you will find:
- A Registration form for the 2005 annual meeting
- A tentative agenda for the 2005 annual meeting
- 2005 election ballot
- Candidates statements for the offices of Vice Chair/Chair-Elect, and Treasurer
The annual meeting will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at the Marriott Rivercenter, in San Antonio. Sandy Westall from Innovative Interfaces, Inc. will be attending the meeting, and will give us a company update. Also a Product Manager will be there to give us two presentations. The priority level we have requested Innovative to present are: Image Linking, WAM (Web Access Management), and URL Maintenance. We will also have three presentations from the user point of view: Ann Nez on Create Lists, Scott Matheson on WebBridge, and Jack Bissett on TOC's and OPAC enhancement. As a favorite to many users, we will also have two sets of break-out discussion groups on various topics in the late afternoon. We have also planned an offsite luncheon at Boudro's (www.boudros.com), a 3-4 block walk from the hotel, on the famous San Antonio Riverwalk.
Due to last minute dealings with the restaurant, AALL, and Innovative Interfaces, we are a bit late in sending out this mailing. The restaurant requires a final number of lunch attendees with entrée selection by July 2. If you cannot have your check to our treasurer Phyllis Post by July 1, please e-mail her at ppost [at] law.capital.edu to let her know your luncheon preference, and she will work with you on whether to mail or bring your check with you to the meeting.
I hope to see many of you in San Antonio.
Sincerely yours,
Joseph P. Hinger, ILUG Chair
