In accordance to the Innovative Law Users Group bylaws, the membership must be notified of any proposed changes to any amendments and increase of dues before our annual meeting. We will vote on the two proposals listed below during the ILUG meeting to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, July 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  1. Proposal to change fiscal year

    The current ILUG bylaw states:

       Article IV: Fiscal Year
The Fiscal Year shall be January 1-December 31.

    Proposed amendment change:

       Article IV: Fiscal Year
The Fiscal Year shall be July 1–June 30.

By changing the fiscal year to July 1-June 30, annual membership dues will reflect membership from July to June, which coincides with the fiscal years at our respective law libraries.
  2. Increase Dues

    Current dues: $40.00

    Proposed dues: $50.00

Dues provide funds for yearly grants and subsidize the ILUG luncheon during the IUG meeting.
